2023 Vina Siete Tazas Elementa Reserve (Screwcap) Sauvignon Blanc 0.75 Ltr. Blanco
picture of

Clear, almost white color with light green reflection. Complex nose with aromas of grapefruit, lime, green apple and a hint of freshly cut grass. Its lively acidity is perfectly balanced by ripe fruity notes. Dry and challenging on the palate with confirmation of the fruit mentioned above. The balanced final lingers nicely and asks for more.

Nice and fresh and thirst-quenching on a sunny terrace. Fruity but nice dry aperitif. Its lively character with many citrus notes makes it the ideal companion for pure flavors from the sea such as shellfish, seafood, fish carpaccio and calamari. A goat's cheese can also appreciate its presence.

climate

Curicó valley is divided into several other smaller valleys. The cooler valleys like Lontué are used for white grapes and the slightly warmer ones like Maule for red wines. A general characteristic is that the temperature can vary greatly during the day and at night. This means that the grapes can ripen slowly and for a long time. In general, there is a Mediterranean climate with warm dry summers and short cold winters. Both the Andes mountains and the ocean play a major role in this.

soil

Poor sandy soils varying between more clay or more calcareous soils.

vinification

Grapes are picked in the cool of the morning. After careful pressing, the fermentation is started in stainless steel barrels at a low temperature. Short skin contact to guarantee optimum freshness. After a few months it is bottled and put on the market.
