2023 Russolo Braida ANTICA Blanc 0.75 Ltr. Bianco
picture of

Clear, light straw-yellow color. Immediately noticeable is its pleasant and airy character. Aromas of yellow fruits such as peach, pineapple, and a subtle hint of apricot come forward, accompanied by floral notes of jasmine and linden blossom, followed by spicier impressions of white pepper and ginger. The wine has a smooth and supple mouthfeel, with a nice balance. The finish is airy and medium in length.

Pleasant and summery aperitif. Also delicious with various appetizers, light fish dishes, and Mediterranean vegetarian preparations.

climate

With the Dolomites to the north and the Adriatic Sea to the south, the climate here is influenced by these two factors. Summers are warm and dry, while winters can be cold, with the Adriatic Sea regulating the climate. The plain of San Quirino is not surrounded by hills or other natural features, allowing these influences to have free rein.

soil

An alluvial plain formed by deposits from the Cellina River, originating from glaciers. This plain consists of a thick layer of limestone with gravel, marl, and other deposition materials at the foot of the Dolomites.

vinification

Blend of different grape varieties such as Pinot Grigio, Müller Thurgau, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes are fermented separately at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The wines then mature for about 6 months. Depending on the vintage, the final blend is assembled and bottled.
