Very ripe fruit with an almost Bordeaux like character, less earthy than other Brunellos but there were spices and secondary flavors. A nice long 30 second finish with a great nose. Only distraction was the color was almost brown like root-beer. A real nice wine experience.
A truly exceptional wine reserved for the most special of occasions, celebrations and hearty meals.
