Light rosé colour. Ripe but refreshing cherry fruit with hints of strawberry and pomegranate. The delicate fruit notes are perfectly balanced with its fine structure. Dry, soft and flavourful on the palate. The finish is quite long and leaves you reminiscing about sunny summer days.
As a delicious summer chill or with all kinds of vegetarian dishes, noodles, chicken and fish salads and cold buffet.

Carnuntum is located in Lower Austria's southernmost and warmest wine region, on the Danube. It is characterised by a dry summer and a fairly warm autumn, allowing the grapes to ripen optimally. It is an offshoot of the Pannonian plain that benefits from a microclimate and is protected from the cold from the north by forests. The Danube regularises and flattens temperature peaks.

Harvested by hand at the end of September. The grape juice remains in contact with the skins for a few hours. Spontaneous start of fermentation with 100% natural yeasts under cold controlled temperature in inox vats. The wine then rests further on its lees and is siphoned only once more. No filtering.
