Beautiful, deep and intense ruby red color with granite red sparkles. Present, complex nose with lots of black fruit, wild berries and black cherries, violet, licorice and other sweet herbs. After some air supported by notions of graphite, pepper, cocoa, roasted wood, leather and a hint of balsamic vinegar. Despite this overwhelming taste explosion, it remains tasty followed by a spectacularly long finish. After some aging, this wine will only reveal more and reward your patience. AWARDS: Gold Medal Berliner Wine Trophy, 99 points Luca Maroni
This wine is an intense taste experience in itself. With food it asks for lush, spicy and pronounced dishes such as game, grilled and roasted red meat, lamb and chocolate desserts.
