2023 Eburon Wine of Belgium - Limited Production of 900 bottles Chardonnay - Barrel Aged 0.75 Ltr. Wit
picture of

The 2023 Chardonnay from this estate is a true standout, and with only 900 bottles produced, it is a rare gem. The wine reveals aromas and flavors of ripe tropical fruit, such as pineapple, mango, and juicy pear, supported by a refined minerality derived from the Silex soils. Aging in new, lightly toasted oak adds a subtle creaminess and elegance, resulting in a beautiful balance and a silky mouthfeel. The long, refined finish completes the experience.

This elegant Chardonnay pairs beautifully with a wide range of dishes. Whether served alongside fresh salads, delicate fish dishes, creamy risotto, or poultry, the versatility of this wine will delight many. Serve lightly chilled for the best experience.

vinification

For production, the wine was meticulously fermented: 50% of the juice was processed under controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, while the other half underwent fermentation in new oak barrels from the renowned François Frères Cooperage in Burgundy. After an immediate malolactic conversion, the wine was aged for eight months, partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in oak barrels, followed by careful blending and bottling.
